Russia-Bound Super Eagles Receive Backing From Arsenal's Record Signing
Arsenal's most expensive player in history, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is backing Nigeria at the this summer's football festival in Russia.

Aubameyang's Gabon failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup after finishing third in Group C of the qualifiers, behind winners Morocco and Ivory Coast.

Nigeria have in their ranks Aubameyang's teammate at Arsenal, Alex Iwobi, and the Gabonese star is also supporting the Super Eagles because of their eye-popping World Cup kit.

Writing on social media, Aubameyang stated :''I support Nigeria for World Cup because of my friend @alexiwobi but to tell the truth also because of your @nikefootball kit šŸ˜†šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚need one !!!!''.

It is known that Aubameyang was sponsored by Nike, the manufacturer of Nigeria's official World Cup kit, while he was at Borussia Dortmund, so his latest post on social media appears to be an advertising campaign.

The 28-year-old joined Arsenal in the January transfer window and netted 10 goals in 14 games for the Gunners in 2018.
