Official: Chelsea Announce Signing Of Highly-Rated Midfielder From Liverpool
Published: June 14, 2018Through a statement published on their official website, Chelsea Ladies have announced that they have secured the services of highly-rated midfielder Sophie Ingle from Liverpool.
Ingle, who can also be deployed as a defender, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the current FA WSL champions.
She is returning to Chelsea for a second spell, having previously represented the club in 2012 and 2013.
''As soon as I got the call from Chelsea it was massive for me. I enjoyed my time at Liverpool, but this is a new challenge and I think I'm ready for it,'' Ingle told Chelsea's official website.
''I need to push on with my career and I've come to a club that is the number one in England, winning plenty of trophies, and I hope to do that here.''
A product of Vale Wanderers F.C, the Wales international has represented Cardiff City and Bristol Academy in the past.
