Official: Midfielder Eligible For Nigeria, Denmark & Germany Joins FC Midtjylland
Published: June 14, 2018Danish Superliga champions FC Midtjylland have strengthened their squad with the signing of Ayo Simon Okosun.
The 24-year-old has committed his future to the Wolves until June 30, 2023, having inked a five-year contract.
Described as a skilled box-to-box midfielder, Okosun was delighted to join the Wolves and said he did not have to think twice about signing for the club.
''When the interest of FC Midtjylland occurred, it was an easy decision for me to say yes, it is Denmark's best club and I see my change as the right step in the efforts to further develop myself as a football player,'' Okosun told FC Midtjylland's official webpage.
''I focus on doing good every day in FC Midtjylland, so the results come too and I hope I get as soon as possible the opportunity to contribute with what I can so that we can build on that great season together , FC Midtjylland played in 2017/18.''
Okosun will begin training with his new teammates on June 14 ahead of the new season and the Champions League qualifying matches.
The former AB, Vendsyssel FF and AC Horsens man is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, Germany and Denmark.
