Huddersfield Town Star Billing Pitches Tent With Nigeria For The World CupHighly-rated Huddersfield Town midfielder, Philip Billing is pitching his tent with Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup.

The 22-year-old central midfielder who is eligible to represent the Super Eagles by his parentage roots, was born in Denmark and he has already had caps at U19 and U21 levels for the Scandinavian nation but was left out of their team for the competition in Russia.

That said, Nigeria could yet lull the youngster who has already been tipped to achieve greatness by seasoned Premier League professionals to accept representing the African giants after the tournament, with the 2019 African Cup of Nations in mind.

"Good luck in the WC @mzanka @JonasLoessl @AaronMooy & @NGSuperEagles šŸ”„,'' Billing took to his Twitter handle to show his solidarity for Nigeria as well as three of his teammates, Aaron Mooy, Mathias JĆørgensen and Jonas Lossl who are also competing in Russia.

In Group D, Nigeria are in action for their first World Cup game on Saturday when they take on Croatia.
