Former Super Eagles assistant coach Roland Anderson was among the 31,136 spectators that watched Nigeria's 2-0 loss to Croatia on Saturday, June 16, according to reports.

Fotbolti.net says Anderson, whose job description is to strictly monitor the Nigerian national team during the tournament in Russia, scouted the Super Eagles ahead of Iceland's second Group D match on Friday.

The Swede watched the Super Eagles stars during their 2-1 loss to England at Wembley on June 2, while David Snorri Jónasson saw Nigeria lose 1-0 to Czech Republic in their final pre-World Cup friendly in Austria.

Freyr Alexandersson is the third scout that has provided information to Iceland manager, Heimir Hallgrímsson, on the Nigeria team.

The 68-year-old Roland Andersson assisted Lars Lagerback in South Africa 2010 and was a member of Sweden's squad at the 1978 World Cup in Argentina.

He has also attended the World Cup as assistant coach of Sweden.
