Oghenekaro Etebo Ahead Of Iceland Cracker : Eagles Don't Lack Goalscorers

New Stoke City signing Oghenekaro Etebo says the Super Eagles are not lacking goalscorers ahead of this evening's must-win match against Iceland.

In truth, the Gernot Rohr-led side have struggled to put the ball in the net in 2018, scoring only three goals in their last six matches and one of those was a penalty goal from Victor Moses against Poland in March.

Against Croatia in their World Cup opener, Nigeria had fourteen shots, with only two from Odion Ighalo and defender Leon Balogun on target.

''We don’t lack goalscorers. We scored in the World Cup qualifiers – not just in our home games but also away – otherwise we wouldn’t be here,'' Etebo told fifa.com.

''We didn’t do well in the first game but that's in the past now. All we do now is visualise the game against Iceland and we believe in our abilities."
