PSV Beat Man Utd, Chelsea To Signature Of Tottenham Midfielder Of Nigerian Descent
Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven are on the brink of announcing the signing of promising Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Noni Madueke, according to reports.

The very reliable Dutch Football magazine Voetbal International is reporting that Madueke is already in the Netherlands to complete his transfer to PSV.

Born in 2002, Madueke would have penned a scholarship deal with Tottenham Hotspur, with effect from July 1, if he did not decide to move on to pastures new to continue his development.

Manchester United and Chelsea were credited with an interest in the promising prospect before he agreed terms with PSV Eindhoven.

The 16-year-old is not the first English-based teenager of Nigerian descent to move abroad in recent seasons, with Mandela Egbo and Keanan Bennetts joining Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

Noni Madueke has represented England at U15 and U16 level.
