Official: Chelsea Attacking Midfielder Moves To Leeds United On Loan
Published: June 30, 2018Through a statement on their official website, EFL Championship side Leeds United have confirmed that they have secured the services of Lewis Baker on loan.
The Luton native will be playing on loan at Leeds United for the entirety of the 2018-2019 season.
Baker previously enjoyed loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday, Milton Keynes Dons, Vitesse and Middlesbrough.
The 23-year-old's only competitive appearance for Chelsea's first team to date was against Derby County at Pride Park in January 2014.
The attacking midfielder has represented England's U17, U19, U20 and U21 national teams and helped the Young Lions to win the 2016 Toulon Tournament, he was the tournament's top scorer with four goals.
Baker has been on the books of Chelsea for thirteen years and joined the Blues from Luton Town.
