16-Year-Old Nigerian Goalkeeper Training With West Ham First Team
Teenage Nigerian goalkeeper Daniel Jinadu is training with West Ham's first team ahead of the 2018-2019 season.

West Ham Youth says goalkeeper Daniel Jinadu is amongst those that have gone to Switzerland with the first team for pre-season training.

The Hammers first team players reported to Rush Green for the first day of their pre-season training programme on Monday before heading off to a training camp in the Swiss Alps.

New West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is expected to observe Jinadu at close quarters for the next twelve days.

The former Chelsea Academy netminder penned a two-year scholarship deal with West Ham in the off-season following a successful trial.

West Ham will face FC Winterthur in their first pre-season game on Sunday before friendlies with Wycombe Wanderers, Preston North End, Aston Villa and Ipswich Town.

An England U16 international, Jinadu was in goal on three occasions for West Ham U18s in the second half of last season.
