Exclusive: Vitesse Beat Anderlecht, Gent & Club Brugge To Signature Of AS Trencin Super Kid Hilary Gong

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem have won the race for the signature of hugely talented Nigerian winger Hilary Gong.

Cologne and Feyenoord Rotterdam were interested in securing the services of Gong as well as Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Gent, OGC Nice and Monaco before the youngster decided to join Vitesse.

Hilary Gong has already arrived in the Netherlands and will append his signature to a multi-year contract with the Arnhem based club who are coached by former CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky, subject to a routine medical.

Last season, the 19-year-old was directly involved in 23 goals (11 goals, 12 assists) from 36 matches across all competitions for AS Trencin.

He is a product of the famous Golden Boot Soccer Academy which produced wingers such as Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu.

Hilary has blistering pace and very good technical ability, and has the same playing style as Liverpool's Sadio Mane.
