RB Leipzig See N5.69 Billion Bid For Everton's Nigerian Winger Rejected

Premier League side Everton have rejected the first offer made by Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig to secure the services of Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, according to reports.

Lookman spent the second part of last season on loan at RB Leipzig and was directly involved in 9 goals in 11 appearances for the German club.

According to Mirror UK, Everton have rejected a bid worth around £12 million (equivalent of N5.69 billion in Nigerian currency) from RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman, with new Toffees boss Marco Silva reluctant to let the England U20 World Cup-wining winger go.

Though Everton want to keep Lookman, he has made it known that he wants to leave the club due to his lack of playing opportunities.

The 20-year-old joined Everton in January 2017 from Charlton Athletic and has made 24 appearances for the first team.
