Russian Premier League club FC Krasnodar have completed the signing of Russian striker of Nigerian descent Herman Olegovich Onugha, writes the official website of the Black-Greens.
Onugha was born in the Russian capital, Moscow on July 6, 1996 to a Nigerian father and moved to Penza along with his mother when he was three years old.
Krasnodar and FC Volgar-Astrakhan reached an agreement on the transfer of the attacker before he committed his future to the Premier League club for the next four seasons following a successful medical.
The 1.92 meters tall Onugha has been compared to Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku due to his playing style and physical attributes.
He started his professional career with Penza Zenit in 2017 before joining the ranks of FC Volgar-Astrakhan in the winter transfer market of 2018.
Russian-born defender Brian Idowu started three matches for the Super Eagles at this summer's World Cup.
