EFL League Two club Northampton Town have completed the signing of Hakeem Odoffin, who last wore the jersey of Wolverhampton Wanderers on a two-year deal.

The attacking right-back is joining the Cobblers as a free agent following his release by Wolves at the end of last season.

Odoffin spent time with the youth teams of Tottenham Hotspur, Reading and Barnet before a celebrated move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2016.

Speaking on the deal, Northampton Town manager Dean Austin told the club's official webpage : ''Hakeem is a player I know a lot about and he will be a good addition to the squad.

"He is a good size and he has pace. He loves to get forward from full back and he will compete well with Shay Facey for the right back position.

''The two of them will drive each other forward and competition for places is crucial.''

The 20-year-old Hakeem Odoffin spent a portion of the 2016-2017 season on loan at Eastleigh.
