Official: Super Eagles Star Okpotu Joins Moroccan Club DH El Jadida
Through official channels, Moroccan Botola club Difaâ Hassani d'el-Jadida have announced that they have completed the signing of Nigeria international Anthony Okpotu from Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Lobi Stars.

The striker is contracted to his new employer until the end of the 2020-2021 season, having put pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Difaâ Hassani d'el-Jadida have done their homework before offering Okpotu a contract as he starred for the Super Eagles at the 2018 African Nations Championship that took place in Morocco.

The 24-year-old tried his luck at Brondby in April but did not get a positive feedback from the Danish Superliga team before his recent trip to North Africa.

He was previously at another North African side, Al-Ittihad Tripoli, for two years before returning to Lobi Stars in 2015.

Okpotu finished last season at the top of the NPFL scoring charts with 19 goals for Lobi Stars.
