Bromley's Marc-Anthony Okoye Delighted To Make Home Debut Against The Eagles
Bromley summer signing Marc-Anthony Okoye has spoken of his happiness after making his home debut for The Lillywhites in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 17.

The defender was among the three players of Nigerian descent that started at Westminster Waste Stadium, the others being Tobi Adebayo-Rowling and highly-rated Crystal Palace youngster Joseph Hungbo.

Okoye thought he had scored in the 67th minute but the goal was later ruled out for offside by the assistant referee.

''I was grateful to walk out at Hayes Lane after so many years, the club have really come a long way,'' Okoye told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''Looking around at the supporters in the stands and terraces was a great feeling. Just happy to back after some minor injuries and playing and delighted to get 90 minutes under my belt. ''

He added : ''The club is amazing, what's impressed me is the attention to detail. It is a professional football club in and out with everything they do. I'm excited to continue to develop my game at the club.''

The 25-year-old Marc-Anthony Okoye, who previously played for the youth team of Bromley, has also lined up for Braintree Town, Dulwich Hamlet and Merstham in the past.
