Published: July 18, 2018Through their official Youtube channel, Premier League side Southampton asked their new scholars to introduce themselves to the supporters of the club.
The Saints have completed the signings of two talented Nigerian teenagers in David Osaretin Agbontohoma and Roland Idowu.
Agbontohoma has revealed that he was on the books of Chelsea before joining Arsenal, and also clarified that he is a central defender.
''David Agbontohoma ,16. Center back. My previous clubs were Chelsea and Arsenal,'' Agbontohoma stated in his brief introduction.
Agbontohoma had to move onto pastures new because he was not offered a scholarship by Arsenal.
The defender was a non-playing substitute against Aston Villa in the U18 Premier League in August 2017 and made his
league debut against Leicester City U18s two months later, coming off
the bench in the 76th minute to replace Miguel Azeez.
