Nigerian Winger Omitted From Manchester United Final Roster For Super Cup NI
Published: July 22, 2018Nigerian winger Shola Shoretire has not been included in Manchester United's final roster for the 2018 edition of the SuperCupNI.
Last week, the organizers had suggested that the highly-rated youngster was set to feature in the tournament but he is not in United U15s traveling party to Northern Ireland.
Manchester United have taken an 18-player squad to Northern Ireland for the SuperCupNI, which begins for the U15 team when they trade tackles with Co L'derry at the Showgrounds, Coleraine on Monday, July 23.
The Red Devils will also face Rangers (July 24) and Club NI (July 25) in the Junior Section (U15).
Depending on their position in the group, they will progress to the semifinals of one of the following competitions : SuperCup NI, SCNI Globe, SCNI Vase or SCNI Bowl.
Shola Shoretire traveled with Manchester United U18s squad to Austria for pre-season training this month.
