Official: Chelsea's Brazilian Midfielder Agrees Deal To Return To His Native Country
Brazilian attacking midfielder Nathan will be spending the forthcoming season on loan at Atlético Mineiro, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side confirmed on Tuesday, July 24.

The 22-year-old joined Chelsea in 2015 from Atlético Paranaense but has yet to make his competitive debut for the Premier League side.

Nathan was previously loaned out to Vitesse, Amiens and Belenenses and this latest move is the first time he has been loaned out to a non-European club since transferring to the London club.

Having starred at the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup, where he won the Silver Ball behind Nigeria's own Kelechi Iheanacho, he earned a promotion to Brazil's U20 team.

The Blumenau native was directly involved in four goals ( 2 goals and 2 assists) during his loan spell with Belenenses in the second half of last season.

Chelsea have loaned out up to eighteen players in the summer transfer window.
