West Brom, Blackburn & Swansea Interested In Man City's Nigerian Striker
Published: July 31, 2018At least three Championship clubs are interested in signing German-born Nigerian striker Lukas Nmecha on a season-long loan before the close of the summer transfer window.
The online edition of the Daily Mail UK says Nmecha is wanted by West Bromwich Albion, and also has an offer from Swansea City, while Blacburn Rovers are also keen.
And if Nmecha wants to leave English football, he has an offer to join Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce.
The 19-year-old netted his first senior goal as Manchester City came from behind to claim a 3-2 win over Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup on Sunday.
He is eligible to play for Germany, Nigeria and England internationally but it is thought that the English FA are leading the race for his services after caps for the Young Lions at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 level.
The attacker was promoted to Manchester City's first team in January 2018.
