EFL Championship side Leeds United have announced the signing of former Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.

The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with Leeds United, keeping him at Elland Road until the end of the 2021-2022 campaign.

A former England U21 international, Bamford spent time on loan at Milton Keynes Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace,  Norwich City and Burnley during his time at Stamford Bridge.

He began his career at Nottingham Forest prior to his move to Chelsea, where he spent five years before a permanent switch to Boro in 2017.

Bamford has been handed the number nine kit at Leeds United and is in line to make his competitive debut this weekend against Oghenekaro Etebo's Stoke City.

He has netted 36 goals in 100 appearances in the Championship.
