Official: Manchester United Announce Outgoing Transfer Of Defender
Published: August 06, 2018
Through their official website, English Premier League side Manchester United have confirmed the outgoing transfer of Axel Tuanzebe to Aston Villa.
The agreement between the Red Devils and the Championship club will see the England U21 international remain on loan at The Villa until the summer of 2019.
Tuanzebe spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa but made only five appearances in the English second-tier due to injury.
The 20-year-old has suited up eight times for Manchester United's first team since his maiden appearance against Wigan Athletic in January 2017.
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tuanzebe has been associated with Manchester United since the age of eight.
He was part of United's traveling party to the United States, where he featured in pre-season games against SJ Earthquakes, AC Milan and Liverpool.
