Young Chelsea LB Reveals Tammy Abraham Advised Him To Join Bristol City
Published: August 09, 2018Young Chelsea left-back Jay Dasilva has revealed that he was advised to join Bristol City on a season-long loan by Nigerian striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham became the the highest-scoring teenager in this history of the Championship, with 23 goals in 41 league games during the 2016-17 season and remains popular with the Bristol City fans.
''I spoke to Tammy before coming here,'' Dasilva told bcfc.co.uk.
''He spoke very highly of the club, he misses the place a lot because he enjoyed every minute while he was here. He loved the club, the fans and the city so he said I will enjoy my time here.''
Abraham was earlier linked with a temporary departure from Chelsea but wants to remain at the club and fight for a first-team shirt after two previous loan spells.
The 20-year-old featured in all the pre-season games contested by The Blues, mostly off the bench as a second half substitute.
