Official: Ex-Flying Eagles Star Kehinde Fatai Ends Association With FC Ufa
Published: August 14, 2018Former Flying Eagles striker Kehinde Fatai has ended his association with Russian Premier League side FC Ufa and this is official.
FC Ufa reported on their official website on Tuesday that they have terminated their contract with the Nigerian striker Kehinde Fatai by mutual consent, paving the way for him to join a new employer even after the close of the summer transfer window.
During Fatai's time with FC Ufa, he found first-team opportunities limited but still managed to score 6 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions.
Word has it that he was not in the good books of the then manager Viktor Goncharenko who is now coaching CSKA Moscow.
Fatai lists Farul Constanța, Astra Giurgiu, Club Brugge and Sparta Prague among his former clubs, and played for JUTH in his homeland prior to his move to Romania in 2007.
Nigeria international Sylvester Igboun has been registered by FC Ufa for the 2018-2019 campaign.
