Official: Plateau United Midfielder Raphael Ayagwa Completes Deadline Day Move to Lillestrom
Plateau United midfielder Raphael Ayagwa has completed a deadline day move to Norwegian topflight club Lillestrom.

The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a 52-month deal which will see him remain at the Canaries until the end of the 2022 season and trained for the first time with his new teammates on Wednesday, before undergoing medical tests.

Ayagwa was signed as a future replacement for ex-Flying Eagles star Ifeanyi Mathew who might be sold in the coming months.

In his first words as a Lillestrom player, Ayagwa told lsk.no : ''It feels good to be here and the club feels like a big family.

''I had to wait a little for my visa in Nigeria, but now I'm finally here. And everything works very well. Mathew came to the hotel and welcomed me today early. I really appreciated that''

Raphael Ayagwa previously donned the jerseys of Nigerian clubs Lobi Stars and Plateau United.
