Arsenal Striker Eligible To Represent Nigeria, England Scores First Goal For United States
Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun registered his name on the score-sheet for the United States at all levels at the ongoing Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament in Czech Republic on Wednesday.

The United States U18 ran rampant over Bulgaria 5-0, with Gabe Segal, Thomas Roberts, Indiana Vassilev and Folarin Balogun finding the net.

Although Balogun has played competitive matches for England U17 team, most recently at this summer's European U17 Championship, the striker could still play for the Americans because it was a friendly but has to file a one-time change of association if he is to feature in official games.

His father originates from Nigeria but the Nigeria Football Federation have not yet invited him to any of their age grade teams.

The United States beat the United Arab Emirates 2-1 in their opening game in Group A and will do battle with Czech Republic in their final group game.

Balogun, who has been on the books of Arsenal since he was ten, has scored two goals in two matches for the U18s in the new season.
