Kelechi Nwakali & Ex-Arsenal U23 Captain Among Four New Faces In Nigeria's Latest Squad Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has added new faces to the team ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in September.

Following withdrawals and injuries that affected the key players in the team, the former Bayern Munich defender has decided to incorporate four players to his squad.

They are Jamilu Collins (SC Paderborn), former Arsenal U23 skipper Semi Ajayi, new Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu and Arsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali.

Also making a return to the team is Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru.

Nigeria lost their opening group encounter 2-0 against South Africa in June 2017 played in Uyo and will need to respond in Seychelles.

Nigeria has failed to qualify for the last two editions of the AFCON and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) administration now in charge of Amaju Pinnick are preparing for the encounter which will be crucial to the hopes of the country.
