Published: September 05, 2018Manchester City loanee of Nigerian descent, Lukas Nmecha, will not make his debut for FIFA U20 World Cup champions England this month.
The official website of Preston North End reported today that the striker has been pulled out of the England U20 squad due to injury after missing Saturday's clash with Bolton Wanderers with a minor knock.
Nmecha has represented the Young Lions at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 levels and is believed to be on the radar of the German Football Association, having trained with the German U15 national team back in 2012.

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Faustino Anjorin scored on his debut for England U18s in their 3-0 rout of Netherlands in a four-nation tournament on Wednesday.
Manchester City defender Nathanael Ogbeta and Arsenal fullback Bukayo Saka made their full debut for England U18s along with Anjorin.
