Dutch Club Director Of Football Convinced Danjuma Will Play For Netherlands Ahead Of Nigeria
Published: September 13, 2018NEC Nijmegen Director of Football, Remco Oversier, is convinced
Club Brugge star Arnaut Danjuma will make his debut for the Dutch
national team within a few years.
Although Danjuma was
born in Lagos, he is provisionally cap-tied to the Netherlands after
representing their U21 team in competitive matches, most recently this
month when he started games against England and Scotland in the U21 EURO
qualifiers.
With Club Brugge participating in the group stage of this season's Champions League, the Nigerian Federation and
Royal Dutch Football Association are expected to monitor his performances.

''When
I saw him working at NEC, I knew that's one that will get to the Dutch
national team within three years, he's really good, " says Oversier to Voetbal International.
''If
you send him into the depth without a ball, he's not exceptionally
fast, but with the ball he is threatening, explosive and can go inside
and out.
"His pedaling technique is also phenomenal, the boy has so much potential, you have to analyze all his goals, all different types, I've literally seen right backs falling over because they did not know anymore, and he's attacking very fast. ''
