Udinese's Troost-Ekong Is Player Of The Week, But Who Else Made The Nigerian TOTW

Goalkeeper
Daniel Akpeyi (Chippa United) : The Super Eagles netminder posted his second consecutive shutout in Chippa United's goalless draw with Golden Arrows
Defenders
Efe Ambrose (Hibernian) : The out of favour Super Eagles defender made his sixth successive start in the Scottish Premiership and provided the assist for his team's second goal in a 3-0 road win vs Dundee FC.
William Troost-Ekong (Udinese) : Impressed at the heart of the Udinese defense that pulled off a 2-0 win at Chievo. Finished the match with a game-high six clearances and a team-high four aerial battles won, without committing any foul. The Super Eagles center back wins our Nigerian Player of the Week award.
Godfrey Oboabona (Gorica) : Did not look out of place on his debut in the Croatian topflight despite being inactive for close to eight months. The number four helped goalkeeper Kahlina to post a shutout.
Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea on loan to Derby) : Was outstanding last Tuesday in Derby's goalless draw vs Blackburn Rovers and impressed in the 3-1 win vs Brentford this past weekend.
Midfielders
Arnaut Danjuma (Club Brugge) : The left midfielder netted his fourth of the season and bagged an assist in his team's 4-0 humiliation of a Gent side featuring Taiwo Awoniyi.
Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City) : Though his name was taken down in the 18th minute against Huddersfield Town, that did not prevent him from being himself. His six tackles over the course of ninety minutes was a game-high.
Afeez Aremu (IK Start) : Literally worked his socks off as IK Start won their first away match in three years by beating Bodø / Glimt 2-1.
Strikers
Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool on loan to Reims) : The winger was just too hot for the Dijon defense to handle on his full debut in the French Ligue 1. Completed three dribbles, a game-high and was the most fouled player in the Reims side.
Alex iwobi (Arsenal) : The Hale End Academy product has been receiving praises from right left and centre, even from Arsenal, following his Man of the Match performance in the Gunners' Europa League win against FC Vorskla.
Josh Maja (Sunderland) : Undoubtedly, one of Nigeria's best young players in Europe at the moment. With seven goals in nine matches, the EFL Young Player of the Month is the leading marksman in the League One. Notched a brace against Rochdale on Saturday.
