Nigerian Striker Nets Winner For Liverpool In Win Against Umotong's Brighton & Hove
Dual eligible British-Nigerian striker, Rinsola Babajide, netted the game winning goal as Liverpool beat Brighton and Hove Albion Women 1-0  in the Women's Super League on Sunday, September 23.

Both the England U20 star and Ini Umotong entered the game as substitutes, with Babajide playing the last ten minutes and the Nigeria international striker tasting action for only two minutes.

The Seagulls held their own until the 85th minute when Babajide's shot from the edge of the area beat goalkeeper Gillett.

The 20-year-old has now found the net for Liverpool in her last two matches in all competitions, having scored in their 3-3 draw with Durham in a Continental Tyres Cup clash on September 16.

Brighton & Hove were close to an equalizer when Umotong held the ball up for Buet but she fluffed her lines in the final minutes.

Sunday's strike was Babajide's first in the WSL after two matches this term while Umotong is still searching for her first goal after three appearances under her belt.
