Iwobi Urges Arsenal To Offer New Deal To Liverpool, Chelsea And Man Utd Linked Midfielder
Published: October 05, 2018Alex Iwobi has advised the Arsenal Board to offer a new contract to Wales international Aaron Ramsey amid speculation linking the midfielder with a departure from the Emirates Stadium as from the January transfer window.
Ramsey's future at the Gunners is up in the air after the recent failed contract negotiations and the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old.
European powerhouses Juventus, AC Milan and Real Madrid are also reportedly monitoring the situation of the 2016 European Championship star.
''He’s a great player. When I was breaking into the first team, I always used to watch and learn things for him. I am still doing that today, " Iwobi told BT Sport.
"It would be a great miss if he goes but hopefully he can stay. We all want him to stay. Hopefully it can get sorted."
Aaron Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2008 and has gone on to make 339 appearances for the North London club in all competitions, scoring 59 goals and notching 59 assists.
