Emery Says Iwobi Has The Capacity To Play A Lot Of Games, Winger's Replacement Helps Arsenal Set New EPL Record
Published: October 07, 2018Arsenal boss Unai Emery listed Iwobi among the players that have the capacity to play a lot of games for Arsenal this season after his side's 5-1 rout of Fulham in a Premier League tie on Sunday afternoon.
Apart from the Premier League, the Gunners are also competing in the Europa League and League Cup, and begin their campaign in the Emirates FA Cup in January 2019.
It is thought that Iwobi was considered for his first Premier League start since August after Mesut Ozil suffered a back injury.
Asked whether Ozil's injury is a worry in terms of playing strong teams in the Europa League, Emery told reporters post-match : ''No, in each training also he can get injured.
''For example today Holding, Monreal, Iwobi, Welbeck played today and Thursday. I think they have the capacity to play a lot of matches.

''They are big and in the level of these matches every player wants to play and they are preparing for that.''
Iwobi has started the two matches played by Arsenal in the Europa League and had been utilized off the bench in two successive Premier League games prior to today's game against Fulham.
Arsenal have confirmed that a new Premier League record was set in the wake of their win against the Cottagers.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey came off the bench to score and assist, the first time two substitutes have done that for a team in a single game.
