Will Super Eagles Fans Be Allowed To Watch Iwobi, Aina, Iheanacho Et Al Train? NFF Clarify
Published: October 08, 2018The Nigeria Football Federation have clarified that Super Eagles fans will be allowed to feast their eyes on the national team stars for only two days during their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
The Premier League is followed by a large number of fans in Nigeria and manager Gernot Rohr has named Chelsea duo Kenneth Omeruo and Ola Aina, Leicester City pair Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, Brighton & Hove's Leon Balogun and Arsenal whizkid Alex Iwobi in the squad to face the North Africans.
The Nigerian Federation have stated that the door is open for fans to watch the team train on Tuesday and Wednesday this week but their last two training sessions on Thursday and Friday will be held behind closed doors.
However, journalists are permitted to film the first fifteen minutes of the Super Eagles final workout on Friday, October 12.
The Super Eagles camp opens at Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Uyo today, Monday.
Nigeria's opponents, Libya have been training in the Tunisian capital, Tunis since October 4.
