Chelsea Loanee Ola Aina Nets Screamer In Super Eagles Training

Chelsea loanee Ola Aina was one of the standout players in the Super Eagles first workout at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The versatile fullback was lively and went on to score a screamer, the kind the television cameras cannot capture at first and this drew high cheers from the watching crowd.

Aina looked leaner compared to when he trained with the Super Eagles before their trip to Russia for the 2018 World Cup, and it looks like Italy has done a thing or two on him.

The former England U19 skipper, who celebrated his 22nd birthday on October 8, ended up scoring two goals during the practice match.

His all-round play seems to have improved since joining Torino in the summer transfer window and will certainly give Bursaspor's Abdullahi Shehu a good fight for the right back spot against Libya.

Aina has four international caps to his name since debuting for the Super Eagles in a World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October 2017.
