Everything You Need To Know About The MaxAir Charter Airline Taking Super Eagles To Sfax; Technical Stopover In Kano
Published: October 15, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a chartered plane is already on the tarmac awaiting the national team players and officials ahead of their trip to Tunisia for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
As at 0845 hours, the Super Eagles stars were on their way to the Akwa Ibom Airport in Uyo, having departed the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort.
The Nigerian Immigration and Customs Service officers are already on ground to quickly clear the players before they board the plane to Sfax.
The chartered flight which landed in Uyo at 0729 hours on Monday morning is operated by MaxAir and the aircraft type is Boeing 733 while the flight number is 5N-MHM.
The plane will make a technical stopover in Kano for refueling before flying straight to Sfax.
Tuesday's game between Libya and Nigeria which corresponds to the fourth round of matches in Group E of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will begin at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri, Sfax at 1900 hours.
