No Cause For Alarm : Super Eagles Defenders Omeruo, Troost-Ekong Train Fully With Clubs
Nigeria internationals Kenneth Omeruo and William Troost-Ekong are not in danger of missing the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa next month as things stand.

The Chelsea loanee was forced off the pitch 24 minutes into the second half in the La Liga match between Leganes and Valencia on Saturday and it appears that substitution was a precautionary move by manager Mauricio Pellegrino as the central defender trained fully with his teammates on Wednesday.

Super Eagles first choice center back William Troost-Ekong had to hauled off after 35 minutes and it would be recalled that allnigeriasoccer.com reported that it was a tactical substitution by manager Julio Velázquez.

Udinese have confirmed as much, having informed via their official website on Tuesday that the former Bursaspor star was among the seventeen first-teamers that participated in full training.

Ekong has started all the nine games contested by the Bianconeri in the Italian topflight while Omeruo has been involved in the last two games for Leganes.

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr is expected to announce his roster for the AFCON qualifier against South Africa in the first week of November.
