Five Things To Note About Super Eagles Roster For South Africa, Uganda Games
Gernot Rohr announced a 23-man roster for next month's international matches against South Africa (AFCON qualifier) and Uganda (international friendly) on Monday afternoon.

Here are five interesting observations about the squad list :

1) Five players on the roster in the shape of Francis Uzoho, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success, Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze were members of the Golden Eaglets squads that have won the FIFA U17 World Cup.

2) Nine players have international goals to their names : Idowu, William Ekong, Etebo, Musa, Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Ighalo, Iwobi and Samuel Kalu.

3) The 23 players represent teams in thirteen different countries : Spain, Nigeria, South Africa, Italy, England, Russia, Germany, Israel, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, China and France.

4) With only three games under his belt for Villarreal's first team, the youngest player in the squad, Samuel Chukwueze is also the least experienced. Should he debut against South Africa, he will do so aged 19 years, 5 months, 26 days.

5) The most seasoned international in the squad, Al Nasr FC's Ahmed Musa, is the youngest player to score an international goal of the players listed. He was 18 years, 5 months, 15 days when he found the net against Kenya in an international friendly back in March 29, 2011.
