NFF Make Contact With Birmingham City Star Over Potential National Team Call-Up Ahead Of Libya Game
Representatives of the Nigeria Football Federation have made contact with Birmingham City winger Viv Solomon-Otabor over a potential call-up to the Dream Team VII ahead of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The former Crystal Palace starlet has been on the radar of the NFF for three years now and trained with the Nigeria U23s before they traveled to Brazil for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Solomon-Otabor has given his word that he will attend the training camp before Nigeria's clash with Libya in March 2019.

''Viv Solomon-Otabor has been contacted by representatives of the Nigerian Federation, he is just waiting for the NFF to send him an invitation or Birmingham City won't allow him to attend the camp,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''He is fully committed to representing the Nigerian teams and is good enough to play for the Super Eagles.''

The Nigeria Football Federation have yet to officially announce a coach for the Dream Team after Salisu Yusuf was banned for a year for receiving cash from undercover journalists posing as football agents.
