Done Deal: Central Midfielder Pens New Contract With Liverpool
Published: November 02, 2018Liverpool have informed via their official website that young central midfielder Liam Coyle has signed a new contract with the club.
The financial terms and duration of contract have not been disclosed by the Anfield side.
Aged 18, Coyle broke into Liverpool's U18 team during the 2015-16 season when he was just 15-years-old.
He previously captained the U18 team and joined Liverpool at the age of ten following a successful trial.
The Rainhill High School graduate played for a Sunday league team in West Derby, Rail Vikings prior to his move to Liverpool.
Coyle has cited Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kanté and Jordan Henderson as his role models.
This season, he has been involved in three matches for Liverpool's U23 team and played twice in the UEFA Youth League.
