Official: Ex-Manchester United Midfielder Joins New Club In England
Published: November 03, 2018Vanarama National League North club Altrincham have announced the signing of Charlie Scott, who last represented Manchester United.
The Stoke-on-Trent native can play in a variety of positions including central midfield, central defense and right back.
The 21-year-old Scott departed United in the summer without making his senior debut but represented the club in the FA Youth Cup, Premier League 2 and UEFA Youth League.
He headed to Hamilton Academical on loan for the second half of the 2017-2018 season, playing 2 games for the Scottish club.
Scott trained with Sheffield United before choosing to join Hamilton Academical on a temporary basis.
The combative midfielder is in line to make his debut against Hereford at Edgar Street Athletic Ground in Herefordshire this afternoon.
