Ex-Chelsea Star Mikel Misses Full Training Ahead Of Tianjin Teda's Last Home Game
Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel is rated as doubtful for Tianjin Teda's last home match of the season against Dalian Yifang on Wednesday evening.

The Super Eagles captain did not participate in full training on Tuesday but jogged on the sidelines, fueling speculation that he is not in good physical condition.

Tianjin Teda's foreign players Johnathan, Frank Acheampong and Felix Bastians trained fully which means that the chance of Mikel playing tomorrow is slim but coach Stielike still has twenty four hours to make the decision.

Tianjin Teda are in danger of being relegated from the Chinese Super League as they are currently placed fifteenth on the 16-team table with 29 points with only two matches left to play.

There will be a lot of speculation about the future of Mikel if they get demoted and a return to Europe cannot be ruled out in the January transfer window.

This season, the central midfielder has played 18 games, scoring two goals.
