Liverpool Loanee Ovie Ejaria's Position At Rangers Under Threat
Published: November 08, 2018Former Golden Eaglets invitee Ovie Ejaria may struggle to keep his place in Rangers' starting lineup in the second half of the 2018-2019 season.
According to The Express, The Light Blues are keen to add another creative player, a midfielder, striker and a defender in the January transfer window.
Liverpool loanee Ejaria has been deployed as a central and attacking midfielder since joining Rangers in July 2018.
Although the England U20 World Cup winning midfielder has caught the eye in majority of the 22 games he has played for Rangers in all competitions, he cannot be regarded as a classic playmaker, with no assists to his name this term.
Ejaria was used predominantly as a holding midfielder while learning the trade at Arsenal's Hale End Academy.
The 20-year-old has scored two goals for Rangers, against Ufa and Motherwell in August.
