Nollywood Star Ikeduba Tips Mourinho's United To Win Manchester Derby
Published: November 11, 2018
Nollywood star Kelvin Ikeduba believes that Jose Mourinho will celebrate a victory at the expense of Pep Guardiola when both managers clash at the Etihad in the Super Sunday's big game.
United have had a resurgence of some sorts and crossover actor, Ikeduba, considers United the team to claim all three points.
"I believe Man United will win the game because the game in the UEFA Champions League against Juventus has brought back confidence to the players after an indifferent start to the season," Ikeduba told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Former United boy and now Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo was on target in the Champions League game Ikeduba made reference to but goals by Anthony Martial and Juan Mata secured a 2-1 win for Mourinho and his team in Turin on Wednesday.
"The match will be a close one because both teams are in form but I am predicting that United will just edge it with a 2-1 win, my favourite United player David De Gea (goalkeeper) could be the decider and key man for us," the actor stressed.
Speaking on the subject of Nigerian players not having played in the United side, Ikeduba hopes it will be a possibility someday.
"Hopefully it's a matter of time before we have at least 2 Naija players in the main team. I understand they had some young Nigerians in the junior ranks," Ikeduba who has starred in chart buster Nigerian movies like Retaliation, Kesari and King of Vultures told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The City versus United game kicks off 5.30pm Nigerian time.
