Crystal Palace, West Ham Join Race For Liverpool Wonderkid Dominic Solanke
Published: November 11, 2018Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign English-born Nigerian striker Dominic Solanke, according to reports.
The Sun says Liverpool are ready to let forgotten man Dominic Solanke go out on loan — and that has put Crystal Palace and West Ham on red alert.
Solanke was once regarded as one of the hottest youngsters in the world due to his performances for Chelsea and England's youth teams but has struggled to establish himself in the Liverpool team since joining the club in the summer of 2017.
The Eagles are interested in bringing him to Selhurst Park and Liverpool will sanction a loan move if Divock Origi leaves the club on a permanent basis in the January transfer window.
At the moment, Solanke is behind Roberto Firmino,
Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi in Jürgen
Klopp's pecking order of offensive players.
Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the Fifa U20 World Cup Golden Ball winner.
