The Roll Call Of Ten Super Eagles Players In Camp As At 2222 Hours Monday, November 12
Published: November 12, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that ten of the invited Super Eagles players have arrived at the Super Eagles get-together in Asaba ahead of a crucial 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa this weekend.
As earlier revealed by this website, Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi flew to the Delta State capital this afternoon and his colleagues, Enyimba pair Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Theophilus Afelokhai have also reported for international duty.
The only home-based outfield player named to the roster, Olamilekan Adeleye was spotted at the Super Eagles hotel this evening.
The foreign-based professionals in camp as at 2222 hours on Monday are Chelsea loanee Ola Aina, Rotherham United's Semi Ajayi, Galatasaray's Henry Onyekuru, Levante's Moses Simon, SC Paderborn 07's Jamilu Collins and Porto loanee Mikel Agu.
Thirteen players are still being expected but there's nothing to worry about as a majority of the players are already in Lagos or Abuja and will connect a flight to Asaba on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles lead the way in Group E of the AFCON qualifiers with nine points and will qualify for next summer's tournament in Cameroon if they avoid defeat at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on November 17.
