Ex-Nigeria Captain Yobo Reveals Two Most Dangerous Super Eagles Players South Africa Must Be Wary Of
Published: November 17, 2018Retired Nigeria international Joseph Yobo has picked out two Super Eagles players South Africans must be wary of in Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the FNB Stadium.
Speaking to SuperSport just before the start of the game, Yobo warned that Al-Nassr star Ahmed Musa and Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi will be dangerous because of their pace.
''Ahmed Musa is the captain, very experienced. For me he is the biggest threat for Nigeria, we also have Iwobi. They are quick players that can get on the ball,'' said Joseph Yobo.
''You made mention of the defense, but I think the defense will step up to the occasion. They are going to show they can stand up to the South Africans.
''It is a big game, defense we are very solid, attack we are very solid.''

Despite playing away from home, Yobo tipped the Super Eagles to secure maximum points if they don't experience altitude sickness.
The former Everton central defender added : ''They have to be tactically strong and try to manage the weather situation, it's just like the job they did with Libya.
''When you play away from home, it is different from when you play at home.
''Today is about getting the points, I don't see the Nigeria team scoring a lot of goals but they are going to put up a professional performance that will lead them to winning the game.''
Joseph Yobo was captain of the Super Eagles when they won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
