In the Danish Super Liga, ex-Nigeria U23 invitee Paul Onuachu bagged the winner for FC Midtjylland as they beat Randers 2-1 at BioNutria Park Randers.
The lanky striker scored the crucial goal 12 minutes into the second half to restore FCM's one-goal advantage after ex-Austria U21 striker Marvin Egho had equalised for the home team on 33 minutes.
Onuachu has had a hand in 13 goals (10 goals, 3 assists) from 16 appearances in the league this season.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Dennis ended a three-month goal drought and helped Club Brugge secure all three points in a 3-0 win against Uche Agbo's Standard Liege.
The former Nigeria U15 international scored from an acute angle in the 17th minute but was replaced immediately after his goal after suffering a relapse of an injury that saw him miss the previous five league games.
Finally, ex-Flying Eagles striker Kehinde Fatai struck his fifth of the season in Dinamo Minsk's 3-0 win at Tarpeda .
