6 Goals In 4 Matches : Nigeria Target Abraham Named Championship Player Of The Month
Published: December 03, 2018Nigeria Football Federation target Tammy Abraham has been named the Player of the Month in the EFL Championship for November 2018.
Whoscored picked the Chelsea loanee as the most outstanding player in the English second-tier after scoring in three successive games, accumulating six goals in the process.
Abraham notched an assist as Aston Villa beat Bolton Wanderers 2-0 on November 2, before finding the net against Derby County (November 10) and Birmingham City (November 25).
On November 28, the England U21 star scored his first professional hat-trick in a ten-goal thriller between Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old has averaged 3.2 shots and won 2.6 aerial duels per game from 14 appearances in the Championship, scoring 11 goals in total.
Only Lewis Grabban (Nottm Forest) and Neal Maupay (Brentford) have scored more goals than Abraham in the Championship in the 2018-19 campaign.
