Chelsea Central Defender Training With Leicester City Ahead Of Of Potential Transfer
Published: December 07, 2018Chelsea starlet Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi has started training with former Premier League champions Leicester City ahead of a potential transfer.
The 2003-born player went the distance as the Foxes were thrashed 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League at the start of this month.
Arrey-Mbi training with Leicester City could mean that he has not been offered a scholarship deal by Chelsea or he wants to move onto pastures new ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
The teenager made his competitive debut for Chelsea U18s on the final day of last season against Arsenal but has not featured for the Stamford Bridge outfit this term.
If Arrey-Mbi is successful at trials, he could feature in the center of defense for Leicester City U18s next season along with Nigerian starlet Daniel Obi, who has already agreed a two-year scholarship deal.
Akwo Arrey-Mbi has represented Germany at U16 level and is also eligible to play for England youth teams.
