The Transfer Update On Chelsea Striker That Will Certainly Delight Aston Villa Fans
Published: January 08, 2019Nigerian striker Tammy Abraham will reportedly turn down a move to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window.
According to London Evening Standard, Tammy Abraham has had a change of heart and turned down the chance to move to Wolves on loan.
It is thought that the 21-year-old is holding out for a permanent transfer to Wolves rather than leave Chelsea on another loan spell.
The England U21 international previously spent time on loan at Bristol City and Swansea City and joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan in August, with a break clause inserted into the deal.
Abraham has been in blistering form since his arrival at Villa Park, leading to a number of mid-table clubs in the Premier League circling for his signature in the winter transfer market.
The 16-goal striker is tied to his parent club Chelsea until the summer of 2022.
